Sweetheart deals are out there. I would skip this one as it is a 03 and 4.7L. Find a 04 or preferably an 05 with a 5.7L. If you get the modding fever you will be happier in the long run. However, if you really need this truck I wouldn't pay more than $8,000. Check the trade-in value using KBB. top trade-in is listed $9,750 and low is $8,250. Good luck....

I would start at 9,5k.....

He is asking 12, he may say 11, then you say 10 and you both agree on 10,5....

And dont let people tell you 4wd is better than 2wd....

my truck is 2wd and I have never been stuck in it and I go where all my 2wd buddies and their jeeps/exploders and f150s go...

Put yourself some good meaty rubbers, get an appropriate lift, and learn how to control everything and you'll be able to go anywhere your friends go!

I disagree, I don't use my 4wd to go wheelin, I use it when it needs to be used. Which up here is when we get snow. Two years ago we had 18", and me and my buddy who both had 4wd were the ones driving past all the 2wd trucks who just weren't moving. I'm not saying you can't go a lot of places with 2wd, but to say that 2wd is just as capable is a misleading statement.

wow i didnt know kbb was so low. this guy is out of his mind trying to charge $12k for it. if you cant get it for 9 or less, pass on it. there are more out there.

Greg is right... if you're looking for more than just a point a to point b, i'd suggest the hemi. there are guys that have done work to the 4.7s to make them pretty stout, but a heavily modified 4.7 still wont beat a semi-modded hemi. there are wayyyy more parts out there for hemis also. good luck
