Gps/sat says check antenna see dealer for service

Hello everyone I just upgraded to a 8.4 vp3 NA. I am trying to get the sxm radio to work but it says check antenna see dealer for service. I purchased a gps antenna for my truck since my truck didn't have one and still get the check antenna message. Plz help!

Did you have navigation before? Do you have the Sirius transceiver module?
