Hello all,

I am about to undergo my first paint job and have decided to go with a bc/cc system. I have two airless graco sprayers one being the x5 and the other being a graco 360 handheld. The tips they sell are not labeled by mm the way hplv sprayer tips are (for example itll be labeled 515 or .015 inches). I am trying to find the tips equivelant to a 13mm and 15mm. Does anybody know how to translate the graco tip sizes to normal tip sizes to graco tips? Again I am looking for a 13mm and 15mm tips.

Thanks in advance,
Jordan

I wouldn't do it. Graco paint guns are made for thicker materials like house paint. I don't believe it will properly atomize an automotive finish. Your best bet is a proper automotive spray gun. It's been more than twenty years since I painted a car, but at the time I was using a Binks BBR. There may be better guns on the market today, so do a bit of looking around. Considering the amount of effort required to get a car ready for the first coat of paint, I wouldn't screw it up by going cheap on the spray equipment.
