Hi all - first off thanks to everyone who has posted anything at all, it is interesting, informative, fun and sometimes hilarious. I've learned an awful lot on here. So to start, my names Joe and I am the very happy owner of a 2010 Ram Big Horn, purchased approx. a year ago. I haven't done much to it, Chrome towing mirrors, the Chrome clad 5-spoke wheels, Upgraded the RES to an RER, (going to try to go to an RHR next), added a backup camera and power tailgate lock, all thanks to the guys, (and\or gals), here. Not much else I'm going to do, maybe the cabin filter, and going to put on the HBS level kit in a few months when the truck is ready for new sneakers. I'll post a pic or two when I'm done.

I now work in IT field, but I did spend 17 years as a service\parts manager at a Ford dealership. (I know - Found On Road Dead, Fix Or Repair Daily, or First On Race Day) - I've heard 'em all. Always been a Mopar man though. My first car was a' 65 Belvedere II, 273 solid lifter V-8. Here's your chance to dream...either myself, my brother, or my sister, (Yes - she could shift her '70-383 Challenger's 4-speed better than most of my guy friends), have owned a '69-351W Mach I, '68-383 Road Runner, '71-440 Charger, '68-400 GTO, 65 Falcon Sprint, (Hi-Po 289 4-sp), '73=340 Road Runner, '69-455 442, '69-400 RamAir IV GTO conv, '70-440 SuperBee, '70-340 Demon, and several others, 9did you notice the theme there, there's no substitute for cubic inches). Most we drove hard till the wheels fell off or all the smoke was let out of the motor and it wouldn't run without the smoke anymore. (also went thru too many clutches to count). All with the exception of one - I did keep my '71 Cuda, 440-6, 4sp for 12 years, (true story - we went to see Phantasm when the movie first came out and afterwards, it seemed like the entire audience was surrounding my car, wanting to know if it was the 'Cuda from the movie, I had to point out mine didn't have the sunroof before they would believe it wasn't). Unfortunately, I sold it for the down payment on our first house, now I'd have to sell my house to try and buy it back!

Hope I didn't ramble too much -again want to thank everyone on here, I signed up mainly to say just that - thanks!

My son worked security at the power plant in Salem - heck of a ride for him every day, 2000 F150, 6" suspension, 3" body lift on 38's. Glad I didn't have to do it...sigh - to be young again...

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

Power247 - I know\knew Benson well, stationed 4 years in Goldsboro at Sadie J AFB(what we called Seymour Johnson), many, many moons ago, it sure has changed since then. We stayed there overnight when we went thru a couple of years on our way down to Parris Island, (both my boys are US Marines and were in boot camp together). I miss that area, really liked it there.
