Grid heater delete.

Hey guys new here l. Ok going to order the grid heater delete kit. Which site have yall used to get the best one that wont cause a CEL? Any advice for doing this at home instead of at a shop? I’m an auto mechanic but only on non diesel engines. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only way to get rid of the CEL is you remove the grid heater is by engine tuning....

I don't fall for all the paranoia around the bolt, while it has happened it's very rare. You can do the wiggle check on the cable every once in a while to see if it's becoming an issue.
