Grill Guards

Living in Montana it's just a matter of time before a deer (elk, moose, antelope) encounter. I could use some ideas for a grill guard, where to buy, what to buy etc.

I think you would want more then just a "grille guard". Something more on the line of "bull bar" heavy duty bumper. There are several pretty good ones out there, and I'm sure others will chime in with suggestions.

That's what I have on my 2500. It's heavy though and likely to kill anything it runs into.

A grill guard on a stock bumper isn't going to do much. Stock bumpers are paper thin. You will want to look for a full steal bumper/guard combo for max protection. I myself am look at the Steelcraft Elevation bumper. Expensive but looks pretty hefty.
