Has anyone installed lights under the hood behind the grille? I always see pics of them but never a thread...

Yep, Got a set of 5" Tractor Work Lights with 55w Bulbs Mounted Behind the Grille, Great when stuck driving Late at Night on the open Prairie for wildlife (Coyotes, Foxes, Elk, Deer). They shine out Front and Fogs Light up the Ditch especially in Summer when the Hay gets long and close to the shoulder!

Look in the 4th Gen section. I think there's a thread over there in the DIY section.

Thanks for the input guys! Basically just any set of "off road" lights that'll fit in the space given will work, huh?

I put Black Magics behind my grill last year and love them. Granted it took a little longer than I wanted it to take, but it looks amazing. I drilled into the cross member behind the grill and they are very stabel and sturdy. Off roading has shown no signs of wear or looseness. It took two days for me to do it. About 5 or 6 hours total. Going to and from the hospital makes it hard to do things with your truck. I opened up my stock wiring harness and put the wires through the hole in the fire wall. The entire set up looks like it came from the factory like that. Other than the cost of the lights, I spent another 20 for wiring wrap and some other random supplies. Can post pics if anybody wants to see them.
