I just bought 2014 1500 Black Edition and I have decided on the Vararam Air Grabber intake. But I am having trouble deciding on exhaust. I know this comes down to a lot of personal preference on sound and such. These are My thoughts:

Corsa Perfomance (3.0" Cat-Back, Dual Rear Exit with Single 4.5" Black Pro-Series Tips) SOUND https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFKEoBesIGo

Magnaflow (5 x 11 x 22in. Muffler; 3.0/2.5in. Tubing; 5.0in. Polished Stainless Tip; DUAL SPLIT REAR EXIT) SOUND: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaCnTKHvE-0

Flowmaster (Cat-back System 409S - Dual Rear Exit - American Thunder® - Aggressive Sound) SOUND: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rR-sTct3_sM FF to 1:50

Cherry Bomb w/ resonator delete: SOUND: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSl7eSYFgUU

Mufflex DODM80 SOUND: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JycuZM5s6VU

I prefer Corsa or Borla but I like a pretty mild exhaust.

I have the one below, and I am very happy with it. Great sound WOT, and moderate sound on start-up, deep throaty sound. No gurgle or crackle and zero drone...

I have a drop in K&N and just installed a magnaflow 18 and left the resonators on. It sounds good but is way louder than I thought it would be. And I do get some resonance when doing about 1600-1800 rpms

Just finished installing my 18" mufflex magnaflow. Sounds good. Not crazy, but nice deep sound... The other thing I was considering was a ****** aero chamber. Have always liked the sound of them.

You were considering getting a ****** instead of an exhaust? Hmmm, tough choice... Lol!

First was a DOD14M and the drone became annoying, switched to a 18" Maggy, too quiet but droned almost the same, thought about a flow super 44 but went back to the 14" Maggy and got tired of it, now I have the Cherry bomb extreme and love it; I always kept my resonators on. Didn't want to get a ****** cause the wife satisfies me.

The difference between spending your money on an exhaust and intake or coke and hookers is that one will satisfy you for years to come and the other is just good for a night...

But one helluva night!!!

Why not just do both...just throw the party in the tuck!

The local shop said I should just get magnaflow mufflers and a y pipe, no need for all that cat back business...??? What magnaflow mufflers are you guys using?

Yup the oem exhaust system is already stainless mandrel bend, so get your swap on!

Im just running a delete, but in the future im looking at a dynomax ultraflow or a magnaflow (same thing, straight through, perforated core glasspack) the only difference is the mag is 14 long 4 wide the dyno max is 12 long 6 wide

So, if I wanted a Y pipe it would be 3" dual/3" single into a single 3" muffler with dual 2.5" exit? If I figured that right?

""Don't want to draw any more attention from LAPD."" I live in Louisiana they would prob pull me over for being too quiet before being to loud...

LAPD get's a hard-on when they hear loud trucks. I had a Titan with a sick banks exhaust set-up, and I got a ticket from LAPD for "loud exhaust."

I took the truck to Banks and they did a sound analysis on it and it came back .3 decibels below the legal limit of 93 (if I remember correctly).

I was proud to beat that ticket, showed up in court with my sound analysis documentation and baaaaaaam! Done! Lol! :)
