This is Marilyn my 2014 black ram express. She came with the 5.7 liter hemi, 6 speed transmission, 3.55 gears ,we also ordered her with the short bed (5.7') and the full size 4 doors (makes it easier for the kids and grandbabies) Future mods are the intune dcx i-1000 w/hemi fever ,a fully functional ram air hood from APM and a tonneau cover from ARE, running boards from DEEZEE, and if at all possible front guard that i seen on the truck toys site it says its not compatible because of the painted front bumper but I'm a pretty good wrench so maybe i can figure out a way around it. I posted some pics of the bed liner i did on a thread on this site,here are some more. I look forward to sharing my progress with you all and most important gaining knowledge.

Today i am doing the diablo hemi fever tune this is the start of my mods first up installation of Intune dcx i-1000 hemi fever update going to run 93 octane OUCH. I have heard many good things about this tune i originally got this for an mpg boost. We live in bfe and to just do some decent shopping we have to drive at least an hour and ten minutes one way. But what kind of RAM HEMI owner would i be if i didnt run at least one tank on the diablo hemi fever tune. Installing this tune takes about 30 minutes right now im on stage one

When i planned this knowing that this tune requires 93 octane as soon as this completes i will go and fill up you guys and gals are going for the ride i am going to logged this in it entirety that way no one has any surprises if/when they decide to go this route

this time around i left the factory settings on the tune it is et up for the hemi fever already so we will check it out see hoe it responds then we will explore different "tunings that are available. ok lets go fill up

74.58. 20 gallons of 91 octane no 93 in my town. Tragic. And only 20 gallons a swipe. Tragic. Went for a little ride so...........well my wallet feels lighter. I guess i could see a boost in mpg throttle response i don't really feel any change. Im not the type to spin my tires off so did i really need hemi fever update? Of course im an american man who owns a hemi RAM. now lets keep in mind my truck is 4 door crew cab so its big and lets factor in weight of 20 gallons of fuel am i trying to justify?no we join these forums most of all for knowledge fun and camaraderie all of which i did during this "can" performance mod. I have a trip to take on the morrow i will post back my mpgs etc. and will be letting you all know how this works out in my RAM. Of course plz feel free to chime in with any ways to adjust parameters of this tune there are a few. Thnx and happy posting
