Hood spears and war paint on Granite Crystal

Hello all,
I'm thinking of adding hood spears (solo) or hood spears and war paint to my Granite Crystal '16 1500 Crew Cab Big Horn. Can't decide if I should go with a color that sort of blends into the paint color, like a matte dark grey or a matte black, or a color that'll stand out against the paint color, like a light silver or something else. Any suggestions and vendor/seller recommendations would be appreciated.

Silver is what I was thinking too, but a friend of mine keeps suggesting black. I like how the silver "pops" against the dark grey.
