New to me Ram owner, not new to mopar

Hey guys and gals, doing some preliminary research on some trucks. I know the forums are the best sites for info. Looks like a pretty active forum, which I like. Anyways, looking for a 09+ ram crew cab. Don't plan on doing much to it as its gonna be my daily driver. But maybe a little lift kit, and some new meats. Gonna take the next few days browsing some threads and admiring some of these kick ass trucks you guys have built.

My last two mopars were suppose to stay stock to but one things leads to another and forums and my wallet are always at a constant power struggle. First my 05 magnum RT I bought new in 05. Made it about 30,000 km before I started some go fast mods. Typical stuff first, intakes, exhaust, diablo programmer. Than heads and cam from frank racing back in there hay day. Once it could get up and go, I did some a SRT fascia swap and a few other supporting mods. (awhhhh shoot, no pics on my iPad. I'll them from my laptop later on)

Sold the magnum, which I loved in 2010 and bought a slightly used 07 jeep srt8. I probably went a little more extreme on this one than I care to admit but it was fun. Completely blacked out first, than tore into engine with cam only swap. That last a few months, than cam and heads from PWR. Well wasn't totally satisfied with power levels, so I did another cam swap from a cam from franks racing. Well, saw no noticeable difference in that so saved up some money and did a full on 420 c.i stroker from PWR. That gave me what I was after. It turned the jeep from a mundane ill grocery getter into an absolute animal off the line. 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds and was consistently running 11.6's in the 1/4 mile in full street trim. It was damn near a perfect build. Almost stock like driveability to the point, the wife to this day doesn't know what I did to it. It was awesome. But got tired of it and wanted something with that could tow the sleds and more passenger room.

That's it in a nutshell, so.... Looking for must have mods, tips tricks etc. lemme know what you recommend and what's worked out the best as far as lifts, tire wheels combos etc.

I'll get those pics uploaded ASAP.

Thanks

Fred

Thanks guys, bought a 10 Laramie today. Looked at a bunch, but fell in love with this one. It was the highest mileage out of all of them, but it was easily the best maintained. You could tell the previous owner was very **** when it came to his truck. Supposedly he is a police officer who took a job about an hour away and his commute was mostly traffic. So he traded it on on a Hyundai élan tea. Sales,an told me he was practically crying. Can't blame him to be honest. Came with a few extras as well. Weather tech floor mats, vent visors, front and rear. Chrome bull bar and side steps, hard one piece tonneau cover and a brand new set of winter rubber.

I'm not completely sold on the bull bar or one piece tilt tonneau cover. I will probably take bull bar off and look for some type of flush mount tri folding hard cover. I'm gonna look into and do a little more research on leveling kits, maybe pick up a catch can, and take advantage of a fresh tune with diablo sport.

One last thing, I definitely want some type of bed protection. I like the looks and ease of installation of the weather tech floor liner, but haven't ruled out a spray in liner yet. I wont be hauling any tools in the bed... Just random snowmobile crap, and bags to and from cottage.

Not my favorite magnum shots, these wheels lasted about a week until I went with some OEM SRT wheels.
