So I just picked up this truck and noticed when you turn the key forward it doesn’t return back to run from start on its own. Also there’s no distinguishing click that usually feel when it’s turn from off, to run, to start. I already replaced the tumbler and that wasn’t it. Does anybody know if it’s it’s the ignition switch that would fix that or the ignition actuator pin that runs across the steering column to the ignition switch? Thanks

Yes this an issue or I should say it was an issue with my 16
it doesn’t happen as often as it did last year and I just watch to see that it returns
maybe electrical cleaner ?
I don't think it should be lubricated by conventional means.
I noticed the other day my wiper switch had bleed out some lubricant around the handle maybe in cold weather while reheating the cab it expands the plastic and metal of the switch?

My switch is in dash
