I'm still not up for an EV, but Rivian has some well thought out features

Full size spare, ok, nothing new.

Built in flat point jack stand and factory onboard air, though,...that's pretty nice.

I don't do a ton of off roading, wish I could do more, but Rivian is the only EV I've seen on the trails to date so at least some people are actually using them off road.

I'm not a BEV fan either, but this is pretty impressive!

Given their financial issues, I would not buy anything from Rivian. Might be cool trucks, but financial stability is pretty important in the EV world.

Well, like I said, I'm not up for an EV regardless.

If I was, I would definitely lease regardless of brand. The Ford Lightning Flash would be cool if I had unlimited money and time. Throw some ladder racks on it, Joe's Roofing stickers on the side, and go around embarrassing Mustangs and Challengers stop light to stop light. :D

It's not even that. A customer of mine bought a 2023(?) Ford Lightning Platinum. Was an almost $100K truck, he paid under $50K. Looks nice on the inside no doubt, but even he couldn't tell me why exactly he bought it...

Back in 2020(?) I signed up for a Fisker Ocean. I love (most) Fisker designs and a mid-size SUV for $34K starting price sounded fair, so why not give it a try. Bought stock as well. Later I saw the writing on the wall, sold stock, backed out of the reservation, and I'm not regretting it at all. Customers that bought a 2023 ONE for $65K+ are screwed the most, because these are now selling in the mid $20K w/o any factory support.... what a shame. Compared to that I just lost a handful of Dollars.
