Howdy from the Texas Hill Country. Wife's father aged-out of driving. Gave us his '07 RAM 2500 6.7 Cummins RWD in (seemingly) great condition. Wife drove it 300 miles home while I drove the old T4R. She got out in our driveway and told me the RAM had been whining really bad the last hour or so. Ugh. I drained the differential fluid. Should have been around 140 ounces. Total drained was 16 ounces. Checked the fill plug. Someone had used a fiber washer. It fractured. 90ish percent of the differential fluid was gone. Now trying to get it back on the road. Many questions to come.

Find one at your local scrap yard and swap out the whole thing. I had to change mine out due to a bad pinion bearing and total time from start to finish was less than 4 hours.
