So I ended up ordering these off eBay View attachment 24272
I have the sport without tow hooks so I'm thinking I'll install these in the plastic that the hook would be coming out of. Think I'll do the typical cab light configuration

o o o o o

I'll post pics when done!

Do you have a link for these lights?
Thanks

Man this looks really good brother! I'm glad someone got around to doing it. I was gonna go with the rigid a series lights on the top bar of our grill and then plati-dip the frame black. But I decided to get my Hemifever Tune and a new pair of Costa's :) thanks for keeping the thread alive, the truck looks very good!!! Hopefully I'll get around to doing mine next month!

Awesome job brother!

Hmmm. That looks awesome. Would look good just the three between my tow hooks. As for the mirror signals. If u wanted both you would need to Tie into running lights and the add led into the fixture. My driver side puddle lights r going out so u may see how easy it would be to drill into the backside if the light and replace the puddle and add in running light

Hey thanks! And thanks for starting the thread, was just the idea/motivation I needed. I still like the upper light idea, just really didn't want to drill/cut into my grille. The part I drilled is under $75 to replace if I change my mind in the future so I played it safe haha

Next step is to give the mirror lights a try!

Yeah I think the three would still look great!

As for the lights, that's a new idea, that would work great as well.

Here's a question, is there and wire/light on our trucks that is both a signal AND running light? (Not a duel filament bulb like the front running light)

What about the tail lights? Are they a single bulb/filament?

The tail light / brake light are dual filament bulbs.

Hmm ok thanks. So dual led bulbs are really the only way to go I guess if you want running lights and signals in mirrors.

As an old truck driver, of course I had to add some lights to my 1500. After drilling countless holes in many trucks over the last 30+ years. I went the OE cab light kit. This might not be the best photo to show them, but it here it is.
