Integrated Trailer Brake Controller

Hey Guys
I have a 2017 1500 that I had the dealer installer an Integrated Brake Controller. Every time I push the brake the controller comes on telling me that I have no trailer connected ( which I don’t) and gives me my current brake value. I cannot get the controller to shut down. Is this a settings issue that I should have the dealer fix?

That is definitely not normal. I installed one in my '16 myself and programmed via AlfaOBD and only get that message when I pull the trailer screen up manually on the screen

I would say whoever installed it missed a setting
