I know my buddies got the booze and partying covered..but I gotta do something for myself.

Last year around this time, I picked up my Ram for my birthday. Now I pretty much have it how I want it, but I NEED some wheels. Thought I wanted some metal mulishas but man..no (in case someone here has them)

Ideas? You guys are a creative bunch. I was thinking of replacing the 17/30 with the 2013 sport 20/33..but its my first truck, so what do I know?

(2.5" level)

If you werent so far away, I have a buddy here with a 2013 sport with the 20s chrome clad wheels. He is looking to trade for another set of wheels/tires (holding air) and $500. His stock tires have maybe 10,000miles on them with the white letters. Good luck getting a set and Happy Early Birthday!

There is a wide variety of 20" wheels that don't stick out and look wonky.
IMO, it's pretty hard to beat the 20x9 Sport Chrome Clads from the early Gen IV trucks.

They are clean, simple and fairly light weight.

Thanks gunner! that's one of the very few downsides of being north of the border, lack of availability/higher prices. I paid $50 to ship my $75 HBS levelling kit here..

Greg, you're right..that's exactly why I was thinking sport wheels, the truck was chromed out more than a Nelly video when I got it, I've calmed it down a bit but I don't think black rims would look good on it. Sport wheels with some meaty tires should look good.

Cody, I agree..I wish mine came with them. I'd just get better quality 33s and call it a day. Happy early bday to ya!

I like 'em flipped up.

I did some online searches close by, found lots of sport wheels. I think I'm gonna go with sport chrome clads and 33s. Thanks for the input guys.

You may also look at a 275/65R20.
same width as stock to keep the road manners nice, but an inch taller to look better.

You can get a few different tires in this size, most are Load Range E (Stock tire on F-250s) But in a 34" tire it's nice to have a stiffer sidewall too.

I love the look of our chrome clads, but they are not rated to hold 80psi.
I am looking for a wheel that looks just like them in a 20-22" (Dub Baller is only 24" in our bolt pattern).
If you buy a used set, be picky about the condition; if they've been curbed or not maintained you can't replace just the plastic clad piece.
I clay and Nu-Finish mine every spring and they look like new chrome wheels :)
