I can't find anyone to cut third party keys anymore. Ace did it 12 months ago for $4 each, now they say I need a sidewinder cut for hundreds and need to sell me their key. Ugh. Same at TruValue. Won't cut my cheap key. Its a 2006 so I don't need any fancy cut to replace the third key, just someone to cut metal for a reasonable cost.

I recently had keys cut for my 2016 Ram and the wifes 2013 jeep at my local Ace so not sure what their issue is?

Home depot cuts keys. Find a local locksmith business to cut one.

My local Lowe's does it, they even have a self service machine. I think our local Walmart still does too. And the local locksmith of course.

Same for me, had Lowes cut two emergency keys for a 2020 Grand Cherokee, $3.50 each, including the key blank.

Most of the locksmiths around my area that have a programmer
Charge $79 to program the FOB & cut the Valet Key
I found one locksmith that charges $49 for the same service

I don't know what they charge if you buy the FOB & blank Valet key through them & then have them program & cut it

I bought a FOB through CarandTruckRemotes
It was new stock & quick delivery & very good pricing

I believe the OP is trying to find someone local to cut a key blank he purchased from an online vendor. I have run into the same issue in the past. Key blanks (chipped) for my Jeep were $10 online. I can program them to the vehicle myself using the existing keys. No electronic tools are needed. But I can’t CUT them.

All the local sources want $50 - 80 for the same damn key cut. Using their blanks.

They CUT keys (the plain metal blanks) for $2 including the blank.

So they are ripping you off when they charge 5-8 times their cost.

And most refuse to cut the blank if you supply it. It’s a damn racket.

I got an extra key for emergencies just for opening door of MY 19 RAM at HEB, local food store chain for $3.50. Walmart in this small town here will cut a key for a vehicle even if chip needed if they have an appropriate blank, as long as key can be cut, they will cut for U. Of course, they do no programming on ne thing,.
