lateral traction bars, what are these

been looking at traction bars, and these came up:

Would these word like the other caltracs type of thing? or is this something completely different, wondering if i could gain anything from this.

I thought for sure that 'lateral' forces were across the truck side to side. I have seen a setup that holds the axle in place from side to side because the only thing holding it is the leafs and they dont provide any side to side support for cornering and such... If you magnified the effect as you turn it would look like the axle is sliding sideways out from under your truck...

However... from the descriptions I have found online they still say they are made to reduce axle wrap and improve traction... so I dont know...

Those will help but wont be as good as the caltracks.

Won't work on your truck man. If you look at the applications it says 02-03. If IIRC, they are for tbar trucks only
