No,i was hoping somebody had one and would chime in on whether it's any goodHave you tried this? There’s another tester I’ve been interested but too cheap to buy one. Still happy with my fluke and Simpson 260.
Those power probes work great. There are a couple less expensive alternatives available if the cost is whats keeping you from buying one. I believe Autel and Innova make versions of the Power Probe that arent as costlyThis is the one I’ve been watching.
The way i took the video was it isolates where the break would be in a wiring harness with-out probing anything or unwrapping the harness to find where the break is.Maybe i misread the video thoughI'm curious about where this device is any more useful that a multimeter or a lamp tester?
I would tests fuses with a multimeter.
Most multimeters have an ohm meter/continuity tester with tone.
And a lamp style tester likely cost about $5 or $10. I'm guessing that you likely already own these devices, or multiples of them.
What am I missing? Is it the cool green & red LEDs?

Edit: went back and reread it again, and paid more attention this time around, and i think i misread it the first time around,so i'm not sure it's all that great.
I owe you one Michael, you made me take a better look the 2nd time around![]()
I've been using a Power Probe for several years; it is a fantastic tool because you can use it to provide ground, B+, or measure. The model I have can also work with a PWM signal, such as that used by a fuel injector. I use the Power Probe for something as simple as priming my fuel system after filter changes. This is the one I’ve been watching.
