Hi, was towing a trailer this weekend and got a warning for my left brake light on my trailer being out. found the pin out for the 7 pin connector, and the left brake/turn wire is dead. Getting no pulse from the left, but can get a good reading on a multimeter on the right directional. Thoughts?

Hey Cuyler,
I know this is a super old post, but have you (or anyone else) figured this out?
I have the same issue, but on the passenger side. I have running lights, just no brake/turn. The pin on both the 7 round and 4 flat are both not getting any power.
I've read it could possibly be a TIPM problem. I disconnected the negative battery cable and let it sit for 20 mins to reset it, but no luck.

Disregard this. My favorite fixes are the easy/cheap ones, even if it means admitting I overlooked a blown fuse.
For those who ever have a similar experience, there are dedicated fuses for your trailer power connections (In my case, Trailer right stop/signal) ... who would've thought.

CRASH: Informative for sure. I did not know till I lost my left side rear, LOL. And on my wife's previous F150, I had no idea the rig did not charge the trailer battery (even though all lights worked), till U dropped in an extra fuse that U got in a packet when U bought the truck, though the packet never did say what is was, just a cover if U pulled a tailgate plug. Gotta Luv Ford

I am having this problem too. My F81 and F 53 fuses are good. There is no voltage going to the F81. Where do I go from here?
