Looking over some other post on the subject it appears I could get a level with the Bilstein 5100 shocks for about $200 and they could be used in the future with a body lift for even more tire clearance. Is this correct? Do you guys recommend this over a traditional leveling kit? I was thinking just 33”’s for now but you never know about the future. Also, where is a good body lift sold?

Coming from somebody who went with the level kit as well has now had the Bilsteins....do it right the first time and get the Bilsetins. You'll have just as good as ride as factory. Not sure about where to get the body lift though.

And I just realized you were in Houston; slightly off topic, but what part?

Cypress area. I saw you were too and once I get the tires will be intrested in that Splendora run you did.

To the others why are you recommending the HBS kit over adj shocks?

i would say they are recommending the leveling kit for price reasons, but if you plan is to later get a suspension lift i agree with kevin to just get the bilsteins off the bat. I remember seeing a little while ago 3rd strike post that bilstein is behind on 5100's or something like that and getting them can take time.....don't know if that is still the case, but might be something to consider. If you wanted to go the leveling kit route definitely check out our sponsor HellBent Steel.
