Ever since I got rid of my '13 R/T last year I have regretted it. Now I am able to go back to one and I am looking at 2 different ones. Sadly finding a new one around here is pretty much impossible or I would be looking there.

One is a '16 that literally has every option checked including the Ram Boxes. It's grey and looks nice even though I prefer the Brilliant Black. Anyway, it's very clean but it's been lowered. I never lowered my '13 and just went to 355/45/22 tires and was completely happy. So what would I be into if I decided to put it back to stock? It's lowered 2/4 but I need to get under it and see what kit. My guess is Belltech and I already know the rear end was not corrected. Anyway, to get it back to stock would it be springs, shocks, and remove the track bar adapter if it has one? Anyone have a ballpark on cost?

The other truck is the black but it doesn't have remote start. I use that al of the time and understand it's difficult to add to a keyless enter truck. Not sure why you would ever option one that way but someone did. The other one also doesn't have the Ram Boxes.

Anyway, what would I be getting into with a lowered truck? I had one many years ago which I won't say to not age myself. Don't want a harsh ride and would prefer to steer away from the suspension issues. With the options and mileage I would be willing to spend the money to reverse it.

I just lowered my 16 reg cab express with the belltech 2/4 springs kit, it has the track bar relocation bracket. I have new shocks and adjustable panhard bar coming this week. I do have a little bit of wobble at 50-60, but i confirmed with core 4x4 that their adjustable control arms should correct this.
As far as getting back to stock, you'll likely need front and rear factory springs and shocks, have factory bump stops welded back on, if the originals were cut off.

The front bump stops will need to be welded back on if changed, rears they just pull out and you can out factory ones in.
You can checkout mopar parts online or rockauto.com to spex out factory parts

OP, does the black one have keyless entry? if so, adding remote start is easy

you should look into illicit no cut relocation brackets for the lower control arms instead. adjustable arms don’t work to eliminate the problem completely. the brackets get the correct geometry back. there’s a few guys here that have tried it

Core's arms will "not" correct the rear suspension geometery on a lowered truck.Cores arms do help with wheelhop, but the wobble occurs because the locating arms are not even close to parrellel ,and they actually try to steer the rear of the truck. You'll need a set of relocation brackets to fix the wobble properly. Check with Gary's Hemi,he spent a pile of money on his trying every band-aid fix known to man, before he tried the relocation brackets, lol

Unless you are getting a heck of a deal I wouldn't spend to get a R/T that you aren't 100% happy with... especially one you're going to have to pour money into right off the bat due to a previous owner's modifications.

I emailed the dealer and they checked and verified it has remote start. Not sure why the window sticker doesn't have it listed. I will definitely be making sure. If I decide to pull the plug the black one is probably what i'll go with. The ram box is nice but every time I look at some on a truck t eh gaps are too high, the tops is warped a little, or the painted part is coming off. Seems like more trouble than they are worth.

The grey is sharp looking and I have been looking at the illicit not cut brackets. Just not sure I want to get into dealing with the hassle.

I agree, I would be buying someone else's potential problem. I'm pretty sure I would not want to get into that situation. As I mentioned I actually prefer the ground force 2" rear kit and 305/45/22's. Fills the wheel wells and still looks good. I was looking for 2018's but here in NC they are like finding a needle in a haystack. If you do find one, a lot of dealers order them with virtually no options so they can sell them as a nicer express.

this. Gary's Hemi is a great source of info, but plenty of others have tried every method. brackets are backed by a lot of research. it is your truck, in the end though. just trying to maybe save you a few benjamins!

The only difference performance wise between a RCSB Express and the R/T is the rear gears. If additional performance is all you're after get a nice RCSB Express and put the gears in yourself.

NC there's quite a few of the Express trucks factory equipped with the 3.92's.The 3.92's aren't limited to just the R/T's in the regular cab shortboxes.
