Figured I'd ask here since someone may have some insight. I recently changed my front sway bar and end links on my 2017 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi with 74,000 miles. Noticed when I pull into work, slow right full lock turn that there's a noise coming from the right side. Not loud, but because of the recent work I have been trying to listen for any issues. Sounds like a rubbing or slight groan, no popping. Did notice when I pull into my driveway turn around I go almost full lock left and there's no noise, but there's a vibration through the dash. Again, not bad,but noticeable when you're looking for things. I can go lock to lock when stopped with no noises. Crawled under the truck and everything looks fine, no ripped boots, no play in control arms, cv axle, end links, etc. Tried swaying side to side at low speed to see if it was the sway bar and or end links and can't make it reproduce the sound and no other issue. May have been doing this before the sway bar and end links, but I've been lowering the radio and put windows down listening for sounds. Any help is appreciated.

I would crawl under the truck and start inspecting thhe steering and suspension components for wear or other marks that may identify the noise you hear.
Something should be shiny , if it’s rubbing.

Turn wheel all the way right ,then see what’s really close underneath. Repeat for the left side.

Could the links be adjusted to tight ? Causing them to bind ?

That's what I did last night. Nothing obvious is rubbing or loose. Tires are stock and have been on for 3+ years. I'm probably going to check out steering components next. Maybe pump going bad or steering knuckle. Idk, driving me batty!

Wheel bearing?
Anything's possible, but wheel bearing would probably make noise on any sharp turn at low speed. Only seems to happen at or near full lock and very low speed. If I can't track it down may ask my son-in-law to take a look at it. He's a diesel mechanic and has helped me with other projects. Trying not to bother him since they have a new baby taking their time.

I did back off the nut on top of end links a bit the other day. I do think I had them a little too tight. Didn't clear up the issue as of yet.

Don’t know if son in-law has access to automotive noise detector. But if he does use it , or look into renting one .
I don’t have any brand to recommend, but there are lots available at many different prices.

This will help locate where it’s coming from.

Still making the noise and vibration. I took off the sway bar to make sure it was oriented correctly and it was. Beginning to wonder if it's the ksp end links. They have good reviews and seem well made. I would go to the suspensionmaxx end links if I knew for sure that was the issue. Only does it if I'm at full lock and moving slow so hard to diagnose. Won't do it if I turn to full lock and I am not moving. All the suspension components seem fine. No leaking or torn boots or loose components. Doesn't click or clunk at all. One thing that does bother me is that I can't get the nut that connects to the sway bar to torque value 16ft lbs. When I try to torque it I just crush the bushings. Beginning to lose my mind, it's driving me crazy chasing this problem.
