2020 Warlock 5.7 187,000 miles. Hard bang/Grinding Noise and vibration when stopping intermitant. Been to the dealer originally for just front squeaking noise, they said needed brakes, rotors, calipers, rotors $2200. dollars later, picked up my truck, half home same noise. In the past 3 months truck has been back to same dealer, today will be the 5th time. Does anyone please have any suggestions? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

That bang and grinding could be a whole bunch of things, but fairly easy to diagnose if you can hear/feel it first hand. Look on Facebook, check Google Reviews and talk to your friends. If you can find a repair facility in your area that is owned by a Vet and hires Vets to do the work, they usually are pretty good. In any case, find a trustworthy Independent repair place because your dealer is both incompetent and ripping you off at the same time. Way past due for a second opinion.

Best of luck and let us know what the new repair shop finds.

Find a new dealer, that one sounds like a true stealership.

Can you post a video of the noises on YouTube and post a link?

Squeak noises are often caused by dried-out bushings in the front struts. They can squeak every time you cross a ridge or bump on the pavement.

Set up a step ladder next to the front bumper, place your foot on the bumper and rapidly bounce/compress the suspension.

If you hear the squeaking noise, it's definitely suspension-related. While it could be several different parts in the suspension, I believe the struts are the most likely and a good place to start.

Buy an aerosol can of white lithium grease and spray the rubber bushings shown below as #27 & #28. This is a band-aid solution and will require reapplication depending on weather and driving conditions. I sprayed my GF's car about every 4-6 months.

If your vehicle is currently at the dealer, then we can look into this for options of support. Feel free to contact us directly at any time, and we can follow up with you.
