Maybe my last post....locker issue

During elk season my front locker wouldn't engage, I have done figure 8s, circles, in both directions, neutral to lo etc..., today i unmarried the tazer ram and removed pedal commander.

Now lockers not only don't work, truck speedometer wont work just 3 dashes, abs light and check engine light code $07e8...truck will not go into 4hi or lo. Dealer scheduled for Tuesday but thought I'd try here first....any thoughts?

This is the last straw for me. Maybe parting out mods soon if this can't be fixed immediately.

If you're really serious about parting out Mods I'd be interested in the suspension and sliders depending on total price shipped to AZ.

If I remember right you've got the Thuren set up and knuckle sliders, right?

If you're really serious about parting out Mods I'd be interested in the suspension and sliders depending on total price shipped to AZ.

If I remember right you've got the Thuren set up and knuckle sliders, right?

There front and rear shocks front springs lift is 1/2 inch and sliders are custom built local that weld on.

Ok I got everything back except the front locker. I plugged back in tazer and the pedal commander. I'm not sure why it has done this when these parts removed and unmarried....any idea

You might wanna scan this section when it comes to Meister and this truck. He's had some ****** luck when it comes to issues and his truck. If he can get it fixed, great! If not, I'd rather help him by offloading a few mods and getting him some coin to put down on a new toy. I hope he'd stick with a PW though and see some of these mods go to it.

"Mode $07 – Request for DTCs (pending) from Continuously Monitored Systems after a single driving cycle has been performed to determine if repair has fixed a problem. This is used by service technicians to verify repair was performed properly and after clearing DTCs'

If it is ABS or SRS you will need a reader that will read them. There are generally 3 types of handheld readers OBD $, OBD+ABS $$ and OBD+ABS+SRS $$$. When I had speed sensors issues with my Jeep I had to get one that read ABS codes

I think you need to find a DTC code

So it's just the front locker? Rear is working? Sway bar disconnect still working fine?

Disconnecting the battery for a few minutes may help with restoring the truck to ts default configuration.

Yes rear and sway are working. At the dealership literally right now waiting for the wife. Mechanical is covered but not electrical....great im 2 months over my warranty.....fingers crossed....$160 diagnostic fee.....

Anyone @RamCares is this usual? Any help from you guys to help cover cost by chance. I will shamelessly ask lol

You shouldn't be ashamed of asking...2 months out of warranty, I would expect SOME help from RAMcares or even the dealer.

well yeah and technically it's sort of mechanical too. wonder if doing the bypass would solve the problem? I know it's a gamble.

So apparently a wire has been pulled out or cut and now they have to splice in a new connector....$390. Of course since I use the truck off road it's not covered, even though the tech said there appeared to be no other damage....weird huh

We might be able to walk you through fixing it yourself...the connectors and pins are usually cheap!

That's the problem with all these electronics. Yeah, it's nice to not have to get out of the seat, but when those wires get yanked on by some random object, there's all hell to pay.

save that money and get an able locker bypass that factory plug going into the differential wont even be used anymore
