Questions for all you Ram Guru's out there,

So I have a new 2019 2500 mega cab with all options except sunroof and winch. and I'm trying to figure out which Micro 2 fuses in the fuse block are switched and constant hot. I have the official Mopar service manual but it only gives you the positions, use and amperage nothing to do with if it is switched or constant. Also these new cars all seem to power most everything even when the ignition is off. I need a 10 amp switched and a 10 amp constant hot for a dash cam setup I'm installing. Any advise / pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks, Morgan

Well there are several lugs at the fuse panel and even on the battery that are on all the time as for switched I would use any to trigger a relay that is at least 15 amp and fuse it for 10A

My suggestion (what I did) is to go to autozone, or your parts store of choice, and buy a cheap circuit tester (https://www.autozone.com/test-scan-and-specialty-tools/circuit-tester). Then just leave the truck off and test the 10A fuses until you find one that's on with the truck off. There's your constant. Any 10A's that were off are your switched. You can easy hammer through every fuse in the fuse box in like a minute using the tester. The tops of the fuses have easy access holes that'll let you make connections to the poles of the fuse.
