I have a 2015 2500 Laramie Limited (6.7l Cummins) and a 2013 3500 Laramie Longhorn with the same engine. The 2015 has power folding tow mirrors, but this is not installed on the 2013. I am thinking of swapping mirrors, harness, etc. between the trucks before I place the 2015 up for sale. Has anyone tried this before?

I think you'll get better answers in the 4th gen section, BUT I think those are both 4th gen trucks so things SHOULD swap over fairly easy.

I don’t think the harness would even be needed. The harness in the door should already be capable of operating the mirrors. Ram does a good job of allowing different trim levels to be upgraded by the owner by installing the same harness in all trim levels. Could be wrong but I believe you would just need to activate the features of the upgraded mirrors. Need a program like alpha OBD or JScan to do so
