Been riding off and on most of my life. Started with a Rupp Roadster when I was about 10 and graduated to a '71 or '72 Yamaha Enduro 360. My first road bike was a 1982 Yamaha XS400
After a buddy wrecked that one I bought a 1984 Yamaha virago 700 - road this one all over the east coast when I was in the Marines.
I stopped riding in about 2013 when my wife started developing headaches while back seating due to a bad neck. Flash forward to early 2022 and my wife encouraged me to get back into riding and bought a 2004 Suzuki Volusia 800. Loved that bike, but it was not a good fit for highway commuting (I drive 40 miles to work every day, most of it on the freeway). So a couple months later, I upgraded to the "Beast". A 1994 Goldwing 1500 SE. Best bike I have ever owned.
Now that the snow is gone, I am itching to get it out of the shed and on the road.
