anyone in the tucson area, I am from that area originally. Though I know that there are 4x4 trails out there, I would like to go and take my truck out for a test run out in the desert.

16 days and counting, getting my truck prepped with new fuilds and a new hub assembly(broke) and got a camper shell for the long haul.

Would like to meet up with a couple of guys and go 4 wheeling some day and share some ideas.

You can always take the back way up MT Lemmon. That's an easy trail and a good way to check out your truck. Very scenic and can see lots of wildlife.
I know of a LARGE forum based group out of Phoenix that does a lot of off roading. That would be azbackcountry. Tell Chris that Dsertdog56 suggested you stop in. I miss those folks, we had a lot of good times together.
