When I first got the truck I could not get the auto-parking-brake to work. I fussed and fussed with it, and finally conceded thinking this is something I could live without. Then it started working -- Okay, Wow. For the last several months the weather has been poor and cold, and since I didn't really have to go anywhere, I left the battery maintainer on the truck. The few times I did go somewhere everything was perfect. With the weather getting better and my delayed deferred trips now happening, off came the maintainer, and now I gots problems.
The auto-parking-brake is starting to act up again. Usually engages, but iffy on releasing. Since the only thing different is the maintainer is not on the truck 24/7, ah-ha.
Good to know? If this proves to be true, testing and observing still happening, I just can't believe how sensitive these Rams are.
