I have a STOCK 2018 RAM 2500 HEMI 5.7 4x4 SLT Crew Cab and looking to upgrade my shocks. I haul my 14k dump trailer for work (roofing) and looking for shocks for everyday driving and hauling.
A lot of guys like Bilsteins bc they're tough and a lifetime warranty. Might give you just a little stiffer ride unloaded. I didn't particularly see a HD version on Rock Auto's website though. However, there are some HD Mopar's.
How much does the tongue weight pull down the rear bumper? Not so much, or quite a bit? The truck's rear coil springs should be progressive and be able to handle the weight, but what about when the trailer is loaded? If it's pulling it down a fair amount, you might call the Dodge parts dept and ask if there are a stiffer set of rear springs available ..more HD than what you currently have (but still progressive rate for decent 'unloaded' ride) and the same for a set of rear shocks.
On Rock Auto they list this part number for HD shocks for a 2500 (MOPAR 68233921AC). IDK if that is the same shock or slightly more HD than what you already have. And there are a few different versions for 3500 tks to consider. If you went with a 'lighter' shock for a 3500 series that shock might offer you more absorption under loaded conditions, but still be 'ok' (or maybe slightly stiffer than what you have) when driving unloaded, since some flavors of 3500's aren't much heavier unloaded than your 2500. It's difficult to say w/o seeing how your tk performs under load. Hopefully another forum member who does a lot of hauling or RV towing (which might be similar) will chime in. There are some RV forums too. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. My truck been riding rough and hits bumps hard up front like my shocks are either siege or not properly working. The rear on a full load pulls down slightly but I’m thinking if I replace shocks I might as well add better stronger springs as well.
I’ll call dealer to inquire about better springs. Often those guys have no clue but worth a shot….
