Hello All, just acquired a 2022 RAM 5.7L HEMI with 24,000 mi. No tick here and hopefully looking to keep it that way. I’ve been gathering info here from you folks regarding oil/filter and now ready to purchase. Have decided to go with HPL Super Car 0w-30 or 0w-20. For filters, either RP 20-820 or the new Fram Endurance FE2. Any preference on air filters?
Appreciate any comments/suggestions. Thanks!

Whats "south" mean in your description,if you're where it's warm forget about using a 0W-20,go right to a 5W-30.
Up till the Gubberment nannies got on FCA's case,you could run 5W-30.

The GM test also has air filters. He did say this in the test...

You can see a huge variance between the filtration ability of the filters with the Amsoil doing exceptionally well, as well as the Napa, Wix, and others doing very well also, you’ll also see some doing poorly like the K&N, and Trueflow foam filter.

Well, yes, but perhaps something has come along more recently further differentiating them?

We pretty much all know that K&N oiled toilet paper is just a rock catcher.
I'd be interested seeing some efficiency vs. flow data comparisons. Not too interested in capacity, most of us aren't driving around in a rock crusher quarry (our generator engines got monstrous 2-stage air filters for those applications).

This from the Project Farm tester a few years back. I concluded Purolator 1 was best overall, with Wix a more restrictive 2nd.
