Will the sport hood off a Laramie be a direct swap? I'm pricing these hoods online, and trying to find the best deal. It appears the Laramie sport hood should fit on very easily. Thank you!

Should I buy it from the dealer or is there somewhere else that would be better online that you're aware of?

Shipping that large of an item is a pain in the, so I would buy from the dealership and let them take that hit. When you go to pick it up, fully inspect it out of the box.

Just curious, but if you buy a hood from a dealership or else where, do you have them paint it? (might be a dumb question but just curious)

Can you guys share where your buying your hood from? Dealer is quoting me 1700 bucks lol.

Any idea what reasonable cost to paint the hood should be?

The one you’ve posted about is for the DS, not our DT version. As far as the cost to paint it, it shouldn’t be more the $400.00 if you have metallic in it.

For me it was well worth the expense, but as I say to others you really have to WANT this to absorb that cost. It’s really beefed up the front of my Laramie in my humble opinion...
