Just installed my metal moto 18x9 with P285/60R18 XL 120 S COOPR ZEON LTZ and every thing went wheel very pleased BUT at 60 to 65 I get a shimmy only there smooth up till 60 and smooth past 65.What do you think it is,the tire said they were spun balanced and road tested on a machine and were perfect??http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o567/stuntdad/rims003.jpg

Nice. Idk. Maybe one of the fronts is just not balanced right. Others will chime in

Looks good. Not sure what might be the problem. If it just started after the tires were installed, sounds like one might be off.

If a tire is out you might be able to figure out what one it is, as silly as it sounds if you feel it in the wheel it's in the front if it is in your seat it's the left rear or put your hand on the pass seat to see if that one shakes, then it's in the right rear. Oh and by the way, they look sweet.

My 08 did the exact same thing you described. Up to about 60km/h it was fine but then between 60 and 70 it would shimmy pretty badly. After about 3 months its barely there. I had the truck at 3 different shops to be balanced and aligned and after each one i'd take the truck out for a drive and sure enough that shimmy was still there. Like I said earlier, its barely there now. Not sure what happened haha. You could look into steering stabilizers though... I think Rough Country had some on their site... and I think BDS did too. Good luck!

Nice looking tires I was think of going with those but I decided to go with the Nitto Terra.

As tires were explained to me, they're all imperfect. That's why they're all balanced differently. You probably just have one heavy spot in a tire. Just to pinpoint the problem, you may want to rotate the tires until you figure out which tire is the problem. At that point, the tire store may be able to switch it out or you can rotate it to a place where the shimney is reduced. They look great. Nice choice in rubber.

how do you like the terras? and i would have to agree with everyone else sounds like a tire issue my gramps had the same issue in his jeep and it was really bad but it was 30-40 and when he finally changed tires it went away.
