New Tire Time

My oem Goodyear are now ready for replacement after 48k. While they suffered in wet conditions, overall they were decent and quiet in normal driving.

In researching possible replacements I came across General Grabber HTS 60. They rated very high in dry and wet conditions and price wise retail for in the low $160 range, which is an excellent price.

Any of you use them and if so what did you think about them ?

Michelin LTX are the best tires I have ever owned. Got 75K out of one set and 72K out of another.

Mine are past the half way mark with just over 20,000 miles on them.....smh

Yeah that's what I mean. Mine were half worn at 15000 miles...

if your thinking of getting Michelin I recommend the Michelin premier ltx, the ratings are a lot higher for all weather conditions

I will be in the same boat soon. OEM tires with 51k on them. This will be the last rotation before going beefier.

A friend of mine recently got some Hercules Terra Trac II that he really likes. Cooper makes the Hercules brand and price wise they can be had in the sub 150.00 range. Those will probably be what I go to next in the next month or so.
