Hello everyone and thanks for having me.
Well I am not the best car or truck guy and am no where near a mechanic. Changing oil, replacing stereo and minor maintenance is about as far as I know right now.
I have wanted a truck for a while now but only until recently had I thought more about it. A recent promotion at work helped to tip the scales. A co-worker was selling her Chevy Silverado which got me started looking on autotrader.
I worked for a short time at a Dodge dealership as a salesman, not a good one though. Well that was my first look at Dodge Rams.
I searched and researched a bit and looked for Silverados but soon decided to stick with the Dodge Ram.
I wanted the 4 wheel drive due to Kansas winters and the mega cab with a family getting around would be easier.
Of course there were only two within 500 miles, both near Fort Worth Texas. Begin the phone calls and pre-qualified loans. 4 days later I found myself driving 6 hours to Texas to buy my new truck.
When I got there I could not believe it's size and how damn sexy it looked. 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 mega cab 5.7L hemi. Oh and btw only 68,000 miles.

Now time to work on a few things I want to do. Just bought a new stereo for it and will hopefully install this weekend. Wish me luck. I see cursing in the near future.
Brush guard, LED tail lights and other things as I get into it and read more on the forum.
Well that is enough talk. Thanks for having me here and I think you all will be able to help me out a lot.
