Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but not to the trucks. Just thought I'd share mine. Its a 2007 dodge ram quad cab 4.7 L. I've done more to this truck than I can remember off the top of my head. I'm always doing something to it, its an addiction. I'm currently in the process of doing a blue dash conversion. Also yes, I do keep my mirrors out all of the time. Lol

So this truck has a bit of a story. My father owns a salvage yard and in 2010 we got this truck in wrecked pretty hard in the left front without any air bag deployment. I decided to fix it (still has a good title). When I got it back and drove it for two weeks, it over heated coming back from Houston, Texas so I had it picked up. Turns out it also had a blown head gasket. I pulled the motor myself and stripped it down. I sent the heads off to be redone and then to a machine shop to be reassembled. I put it back in the truck. Two weeks after putting it back in I lost oil pressure running down the highway, I thought the sensor went out. A minute later, it locked up. The machine shop guys didn't tighten the oil pickup inside and it fell off internally. I decided just to put a whole new motor inside it and ditch the bad mojo with the 07 motor. It currently has an 05 4.7L in it and it has run good ever since. Replaced the motor at 82,000 miles with a 50,000 mile motor and I put a lower mileage tranny in it about 30,000 miles ago. Currently at about 156,000 miles. I also do ALL of my own work on it because I don't trust anybody else. Been a good truck ever since but we call it a junkyard special. lol

This thing was bare bone stock when I got it. There is a long list of adds so Im going to try and list them all.

Things I added that should of come with it...
-frame hitch (so stupid for a truck to not have one)
-fog lights
-fog light switch
-tow mirrors (every dodge should have them)
-7 way trailer receiver pin

Performance...
-180 tstat
-sickspeed radiator hose temp housing
-Air Raid Cold air intake
-Air Raid throttle body spacer
-3" electric cutout with Remote
-Flowmaster muffler dumped
-drilled and slotted rotors

Suspension...
2.5" level spacers in the front

Exterior
-Husky Toolbox
-10 fishing rod holder bolted to toolbox I built out of pvc pipes and 2x4s
-winch on the hitch that I hand built the mount for out of old hitches
-chrome bull bar
-chrome door handles and tailgate handle
-chrome fuel door
-chrome front grille
-debadged minus the emblem on the tailgate
-2011-2014 chrome 5 spoke wheels
-bfg all terrains 275/60/r20

Lights...
-white halo headlights
-halo fog lights (changed them to blue)
-Hid 8000K headlights and fog lights
-blue leds behind the grill
-drilled the eyes out on the ram emblem on the front grill and gave it blue eyes.
-white led license plate lights (blue at times but cops hate them)
-blue cab lights
-30" led light bar
-2 6" PIAAs behind the grill
-2 4" led lights on the toolbox facing the rear, my fishing lights (aka get off my tail on the highway lights)
-I rewired my headlights through the parklights so I do not have just park lights anymore. Two reasons, One normal dodges turn off the hids to turn on the brights, and off and on a lot is not good for hids. Two, I can have my brights on at the same time as my hids.

-Im also about to add two 6" flush led lights in the bumper

Interior...
-srt pillar gauge with handle
-blue led digital temp gauge in pillar
-just finished my blue led dash conversion minus the radio, going to tackle that soon.
-5 switches under steering wheel
-1 horn button for police siren behind grill
-changed black bezel to one with silver around radio
-Added blue led lights to each cubby hole on the bezel to light them up.
-black front seat covers
-real tree floor mats

Im probably missing stuff, Ill add it as I remember lol

Few pics of the led dash conversion progress. I ordered all the 3 mm leds for the radio, overhead console, and window switches. I still need to add the blue sheet in the cluster to change the odometer. I added blue leds to the cubby holes, I really like how it turned out. Still need to add a cup holder light but that's probably the easiest on the list to do. The cubby hole lights aren't that bright in person. The pillar gauge is a digital temp gauge, it is just so bright that it wouldn't come out on camera.

Thank you. Added cup holder lights and floorboard lights today. Pretty easy to do actually. Did 2 led cup holder lights and 2 light strips in about an hour. Still waiting on the rest of the bulbs to get here so I can finish the rest of the interior.
