new wheels and tires need to be cleaned and polished up. and I needed a sunnier day. will post more pics when i get things cleaned up. went with black lugs last minute as i liked the idea of matching black lugs. they had a set of 24 splined that someone had ordered but not taken and gave them to me for 1/2 price. I'm glad I went that route. the owner is into detail. 2 things that impressed me is him asking if i wanted white lettering out or in? i liked the idea of in and he agreed with these wheels. 2nd, the mechanic noticed one of the wheels is off a tinge in colour from the other 3. 3 mechanics and the owner all had a look and agreed it was like it was undersprayed a bit. i don't think i would have noticed. but he's not happy with it and has ordered another wheel to replace it.

lol. okay then! speaking of discard, i had thought about putting my clads online for sale. there's so many of them for sale in alberta that they aren't even moving for 300 canadian for a set (otherwise known as 50 bucks US..hahahaah!) for the price they are going for, i'll keep them. for what i don't know, but i hate giving stuff that's still good and expensive new, away for nothing.

Yea, same here. That's how I got my 20s for a deal. Maybe make them a dedicated winter set and keep the new ones nice!

That looks awesome! I have an old RTX model, I’m going to keep it as winters and getting either the OR Spine or the OR Slate. I regret selling my Laramie wheels with factory tires but now I have an excuse to replace them.

Put the lip gloss on them things! And getting winters will allow you to run the stock tires in the summer when they aren't so terrible, all things considered.

Stock sized winter tires seem to be kinda cheap compared to say all terrains. I mean honestly none of it's "cheap" but the kick in the shorts is less per se.

can't get the replacement wheel until tomorrow and needed a distraction waiting to go to the dentist so i gave them a quick wash and polish. see what you think....(i definitely have a vision now how good a tire with some 'tude would look on the truck!

Yup those will look great once you have some superior rubber on there. Since the stockers aren't worth much on the market I mirror the opinion of keeping them for a winter set being up there where you actually get a winter.

Ditch the cladding and have them powder coated gray then you’ll have a nice looking winter beater set
