Morning gentlemen, 60.000 mi ago I replaced factory tires for Goodyear kevlar reinforced load range E adventure..a little more aggressive than a BFG AT. I love the quiet and longevity of the tire but they don't make them anymore . The dura_tracs , General "Grabbers and Cooper Discovery At3s are in th running for my new tires, relocation to the southwest as these would have more bite. Opinions on the quiet and sidewall strength are a premium. The Goodyears gave me great mileage..that sidewall was quite stiff. Thank you all in advance. 2016 1500 4x4 5.7

If you liked the BFG AT, why not try the KO2?

Have you considered the Falken Wildpeak AT3W? I've never used them but a lot of guys here on the forum run them and love them.

want good sidewall strength Toyo and Nitto come to mind, I currently am running Toyo R/T's and they are great tires, quiet, smooth and tough. I did not like my duratracs, I have had Cooper AT3 and they are not super tough in the sidewalls either. I loved my Falken AT3w's.

I've had the Discovery AT3 XLTs for one season. Great traction, quieter than the BFG KO2s which I ran for many years.

A lot here like the Toyo AT3Ws, I had Nitto Terra Grappler G2's, gret tire, good sidewall.

Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT!

These have 25k miles on them and they still perform and look great. It’s also a really smooth and quiet tire on the highway.ccf7e9d5e8a5c98d54e87c2179194429.jpg

Don't hesitate to consider the Nitto Ridge Grapplers .... I have them and I love these tires ..

I'm with him these Nitto's have been my favorite hybrid/AT tire. They have worked in every element so far. I think June I'll have owned them for 2 years.

Unless these things pop on me or something like that I will continue with these tires .... I still however like the look of the Cooper STT Pros and have also heard great things about them .... If I get a 2500 I will probably get the STT Pros though ...

But so far I have 10k+ miles on these Grapplers I think closer to 15K and they look just as good as the day I got them ... they are wearing evenly, very quiet and just the normal vibrations that you can associate with big tires like these 37s ....

When I asked people who ran the Cooper tire they said it was louder than expected. I really dislike tire noise. My first tire was the Terra Grappler G2. Excellent tire life, but not my favorite.

Ridge Grapplers were still fairly new when I purchased mine. Since my first set were 35's I knew I had to have 37's this go around. Everyone who purchased them raved about their traction. I agree. I can pretty much run over anything that won't high center me :D.

I don't hear the tires over my long tubes so there's that but not sure how it compares to other AT tires.

Now if they could make this same tire 10lbs lighter closer to 70lbs a tire I know which one I'll be buying again.

Yes they do, just bought a set of 265 70r17 E for my 2500!!!!
Who ever is telling you they don't make them is full of it, they just changed names. Try asking by the old name They used to be called silent armour.

Hello, new to the Forum, but not to Ram trucks, I have a 2017 Laramie CC with 45K and a few weeks ago the original Good years needed replacement. I really wanted an AT Tire, preferably American made and really liked the looks of the Discoverer AT3 XLT so bought a set. Had vibrations at random speeds, back to the tire shop multiple times for rebalancing with no luck, finally gave up on them and the store swapped them for BFG KO2's which have been great.

Maybe I just got a bad set, however the tire guy said that he has had similar complaints just with the XLT's lately.

I have the BFG KO2's and so far love them. I had the Ridge Grapplers... not a fan of them at all. The BFG's are quiet, no vibration at highway speeds, and I think they look pretty damn good on my truck :)

Love my Yokohama Geolanders. Quiet on the highway, good ride, good off-road traction.
