I would like opinions on whether I should paint my stock 20s gloss black (I hate flat) or leave them polished. I'm debating because there is a little corrosion on the wheels but not too horrible. Great shape otherwise. Thoughts?

I’m of a biased opinion. I retired from trucking and always had chrome my wife and adult kids still think my favorite color is chrome. Lol. And it is. I like the polished look but black wheels is just a fad IMO. The corrosion you spoke of can be removed and repaired. Then a good coat of polish and better than new for another 20 years.

Nothing better looking than black & chrome ( in this case, polished).
If you paint them black, you're going to want to paint your badges too. After all that, those headlights are going to look funny, you'll need to be changing them out.........see where this is going...
I'd clean/polish them, seal them & you're done. JMHO

Guess I should have also given my opinion on the topic..

Personally, I think that aftermarket wheels can give trucks a new life..

Assuming you have a 4x4, I would do a leveling kit maybe 2/1 or something and put some aftermarket wheels with some nice tires.

Your headlights are chrome, so either all chrome wheels or gloss black with chrome accents and definitely stick with 20”x9.

Like I said, doing some minor changes like a level and aftermarket wheels can really “spruce” up a truck. IMO

Ok guys thanks for the opinions, I believe I will leave the wheels as is, they are the polished aluminum 20s, and it is a 4x4. I like the look but couldn't decide if blacked out would be better. The corrosion is mostly around where the valve stems are, and a few smaller areas. I'm not horribly concerned about it right now, Indiana winters coming up which means salt galore if it snows. I best wax em now!
