So, got the OPT7 Triple Redline tailgate bar installed couple days ago and couldn't be more pleased. Looks great and works perfectly. Also have the OPT7 Sidekick running board lights and have a question:

Looking to wire up the courtesy lights and the turn signal only for right now. My preference is to have the sequential turn signals flash from back to front; just makes more sense to me that way. The wires for the LED lights will be near the rear door.

The rear turn signals and brake lights run on the same wire so that isn't a choice to access. Since my 2017 Ram Lariat has the puddle lights and turn signals in the power foldable mirrors, I thought the best place to could tap into both the white courtesy lights and the turn signals was from that harness, inside the cab, on both side of the truck.

I may have to use additional wiring to make the distance from the back of the rear doors up tot he inside of the cab, but plan on bullet connectors, shrink tubing and wire loom or tape to seal it all up.

Question I have is where that harness connects to the inside of the cab, and if anyone knows the wiring diagram or coloring that those two lights use; and is this a viable solution?

Any suggestions or information on this is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks for in info...I thought about that also, but was trying to minimize too much wiring. If I can find a place were both sources are close...or together, thought that might be best. But thanks for looking for me.
Also thought about the courtesy light under the rear fold up seat...there is a small LED on the bottom of each seat that comes on with courtesy lights and there is a plug behind the seat back on both sides. Thought maybe that might be a good source for the white lights anyway, and closer to the LED strip starting point.

Trying to avoid tapping into the trunk signal wire under the hood. Any idea what wire under the dash on each side might correspond to the turn signal wire coming from the outside power mirrors? Here are some pics of drivers side connectors in that vicinity but sure dont want to try each one to fine it!! Anyone have any ideas?

My truck is been getting some work done in the shop and I get it back today and I will take a picture. But again I went into the dome light wire Which I'm pretty positive was purple with the yellow tracer. But Hello also take a picture where I believe they tapped into the turn signal wire
