This is unfortunate, but I understand why and honestly the price is way too high for what you're getting, even if you can easily afford it. There is still woodgrain on the bottom portion of the steering wheel, but yes they got rid of the woodgrain on the top part of the wheel. Its ridiculous if you ask me and then getting rid of the fender flares on Laramie trucks and not having that inexpensive option of LED bed lighting. You can only get it through the bed utility group it looks like. You may not know, but I did write about having ordered a 23' Chevy 3500 HC duramax. It got converted to a 2024 so I changed it to the midnight edition. I finally got a chance to drive a 2024 HC duramax today (non-midnight) and loved it! The price I ordered 24' 3500 HC at, fully loaded, is less than a well-equipped 2023 Laramie 3500 that I built at invoice price. It just seems like too much for nothing really big and new and the same old powertrains and cabs. I do like them, but not at the 90k price point. Just my two cents.I cancelled my factory order build. .....
"Just following up with you to be sure that the order is being cancelled.
"Please let whomever should know read this. There were just too many issues with ordering this 2023 Longhorn. First, 2022 was the last year for chrome bumpers--so it comes with painted ones. On the 2nd highest model, too? Go figure. Then the Build & Price site showed an interior rendering that was very different than what it looks like in reality. Gone is the wooden accent on the steering wheel. The trim accents are not bright chrome, but a dull, dingy bronze/ brass. And the Longhorn floor mats do not match the Cattle Brown leather, as in the rendering. I loved the website rendering. If it truly looked like that, I would not have cancelled the order."
