I think he's trying to match the color of his truck a little. Bright silver sticks out with a black truck and looks tacky. The darker silver will fit in a little better.

Ahh gotcha.

It is a nissan color called Storm Grey, paint code K27. The flash from the camera brings out the metalic in the paint alot they are almost black with no light shining on them. I am not sure yet what I am going to do with the other wheels. I might hold on to them for a spare set of wheels and tires. I will have these mounted on friday after they cure well.
