Thank you! I have a lot into turning a Longhorn with lots of chrome into what it is now. The factory should have built the wheel offset this way. Sad you have to do spacers to fix it. No, I didn't have to cut the wheels studs on the front or back to fit these wheels.Looks good…right where they should be. Did you have to cut the ends of the oem lugs off?
Nice lookin truck !
My thoughts were that the oem studs would have needed to be cut so they were not protruding beyond the spacers. But maybe they are not over an inch long?Thank you! Thanks again. The studs do protrude beyond the face of the spacer, but these wheels have enough of a pocket in the back that the studs do not hit the wheel. My thoughts were that the oem studs would have needed to be cut so they were not protruding beyond the spacers. Wow, thats a longhorn?! Yea i agree…i love the interior of the longhorns, but prefer the exterior of a laramie or limited.
Kudos to you, you got yourself a nice custom truck there!
I went with Bora spacers. Not the cheapest, but made in the US and good quality. No rubbing at allThat does look so much better. I have the factory fender flares like yours on my BTS and it does look a little goofy from the back with the wheels sucked in. Those spacers make it look perfect. Which spacers did you use? Is there any tire rubbing anywhere when turning?
