i just bought one to for my 16 2500 5.7 , how are the parameters set vs stock ?say city mode vs stock. seems like most like city 4 or sport 2?

After driving mine for a few months I have settled on sport 2. If the wife is going to drive it I run out and shut it off.

I run sport 2 also. Still playing around with mine but that seems to be the sweet spot for me so far

Tried both today. Sport 2 is a little more touchy. So easy to go thru and try all the settings though and see what u like personally

just installed mine today and this thing is amazing! totally changes the truck. the biggest thing i'm noticing is the truck now downshifts like it should instead of the lugging issues i have had since day one, can't say enough on how pleased i am with this thing. i don't know how they feel on a 6.4 or ctd but if you have a 4th gen 2500 5.7 this should be the first thing you buy for your truck!

When I did mine I just left the key in the house, opened the drivers door and let it sit for like 10 mins. Then did the install and it worked fine. If I was doing it again I would just pull the battery.

Hooooleeeey ****...

Got it hooked up. City +2 (just for a starting point) and it's like waking a sleeping giant.

Thanks Nick@GotExhaust! Good price shipped right to our PO Box!

I was sleeping when I sent this...

Put the Key in another room. Let it sit for a few. Install and good to go. Mine worked fine this way.

Pedal commander, hemi fever 93 tune, KN drop in w/ modified air intake, Moe's throttle body. This truck is unbelievably KNIGHT & DAY from dealer lot to now.

Pretty cool right? Really makes the truck feel like it should.

Next mods for me are the S&B intake and Moes ported TB. Will be interesting to see what improvement these make without a tune. I want to avoid getting this truck tuned for a while. Besides all the $ to get the unlocked PCM I dont want to put up with potential BS from the dealer.

Yeah, cool it is! Woke that thing right up. Power has never been an issue to me, but this just cured one of two little pet peeves I had with this truck. We'll see if it has helped the second one (trans shifting) when I get her out to stretch her legs a little more. Just from the short test drive so far it looks promising.

Disclaimer: those who drive a lot of gravel and snow like we deal with here should probably just forget about Sport and Sport plus hahaha!

Since I have had it on for a couple of days and about 1000 kms of driving, I have a pretty good sense of what works for me now. In the snow I have to turn it off. No getting around that. Even on some of the deeper gravel. I can usually get by with City +2, but in my work boots even City +2 can put me all over hell on the deep gravel since I have less pressure sensitivity with them.

City +2 seems to be the sweet spot for me. Don't see myself needing more. Tried sport- nope, too jumpy. Way too jumpy.

All around great add on for the truck. While I was in the city, it was a dream to drive! Also- I had read some reports that guys were having it monkey with their cruise control. Mine doesn't.

Ordered mine yesterday from Nick with 20% off, boom! After going through the pages, seems like city +2-+4 is a pretty safe bet for best performance for those not looking to burn rubber? And for towing, city +2 - city -3?

City +2 seems to be the sweet spot for my needs. Wakes it up but isn't excessive. I'll add that I have now used it with my flat deck in tow and it works wonderfully again at City +2.

I run mine in City+2, and it worked fine while towing. I might turn it off in winter. It gets really squirrelly in the snow when it’s on.
