Phone ringer volume

I just bought a 2020 Ram 2500 CTD and when my phone rings through the radio it's loud enough to wake the dead. My old 2016 with the same radio wasn't like that. I have the ringer on my phone all the way up but I had it that way on the old one too. What am I missing in the settings. Thanks in advance.

You can adjust the ringer volume while the it's ringing.... have someone call you, and adjust it while it rings.

Mine does the same it is terrible. Should be a safety recall as it is going to cause hearing loss lol

I have a 2021 Big Horn that does the same. It rings loud enough to scare anyone in the truck, then my conversation is so low I can hardly hear it. It seems when you adjust the volume in a call, the same adjustment controls the ring, and the other way around. Is there a different volume adjustment I am missing??
My only complaint - the truck is awesome.

I agree my Charger and my wifes Pacifica are annoying. My 12 isn't bad I have a factory style touch screen in mine and its not loud.
