Pics of my 2008 6-Speed

Just bought my 2008 Ram 2 weeks ago, and just got around to taking some pics of it. I have always liked the look of the Rams, and I REALLY wanted that hard to find 6-speed. Finally one came up for sale locally that fit my criteria-4-door, 4wd, Big Horn package, so I had to jump on it. The rig has 180,000 miles on it. She's got a brand new clutch, new tires, battery, and a spray in bedliner. Those things also made me interested in the thing, as that's $2600 bucks worth of stuff I don't need to buy. I got it for $10,750 from a guy that needed to sell fast. He said that he had trouble selling it because of the manual transmission. It's a sad state of affairs I guess these days.

I hope to learn a lot from this site, and contribute as well!

I can honestly say id trade my auto for a stick any day of the week. Its sad you cant buy a new truck now days and not have the option. But that's my opinion i guess. If i could have gotten a hemi and manual for 2011 i wouldn't of thought twice...

Welcome to the site! Nice looking truck you picked up there and there is a lot of useful information on this site!

There's only a few vehicles I'd take stick over auto but one isn't my ram. One reason for that would be the type of "spirited" driving that could be done depending on the style of vehicle (coupe, suv, truck) and another is depending on what kind of power your throwing down (especially when dealing with forced induction) autos can handle more than manuals.

Welcome to RF! While a 180k is a lot of miles for a 08, and a 4.7L leaves much more to be desired. It looks in great shape and that manual trans is going to be a lot of fun! Congrats!

I wonder the exact same thing. Anyone out there know a link to production numbers, particularly with manual trans?
