Okay, so since the taillight is a brake and turn signal all in one, I'm having trouble installing my PlasmaGlow tail light bar. What would be the easiest way to get to the 3rd brake light to tap into the brake wire?

What? Lol.

I can't splice into the tail lights brake line. Because it also controls the turn signals. So when I hit the brakes with the turn signals on it does some funky stuff.

Didn't come with one. And do those work on my year? Considering the trailer plugs are the same as the tail lights. One wire control RH brake and turn. The other controls LH.

Trailer wiring is standard colors doesn't matter make, model or year
There should be a 4 pin plug tucke up behind your bumper
There is on our 05 ad 09 2500s so it should be on yours
Brown would be your taillight wire, yellow is left turn and green is right

You could probably just get a plug, solder it to your light bar and just plug it in rather then splice into the harness. I've gotten plugs that just had a brown(power) and white(ground) before that I use to test lights

Would I be able to do one of those with the wiring setup. How does the 4 pin work, what do the wires represent.
