Was thinking of spraying the backside of my bumpers as a kind of protection? Seem like a lot of them rust from the inside out. Thoughts?

I'd use something more durable, bedliner? Undercoating spray. Rustoluem?

I also thought about the bed liner stuff. But I like the clean up aspect of the plastic dip and it looks like it would resist chipping pretty good for the inside of the rear bumper.

I would go with something more durable like bedliner. You won't see it anyway, so I'd rather go with that.

Just make sure you have done a really good cleaning of it all before you start.
Otherwise you'll just seal it in with the PD and force it to fester through the bumper.

If you like the idea of plastidip, why don't you use Loctite Extend and spray it all on the back. it is a clear paint that prevents rust and stops the spread of rust, and then when it is dry, use plastidip over it, in order to give it a nice rubbery nonchip layer

Yeah man, and the best part is that stuff will stop the spread of the current rust you have
